About Elysia Bronson, RCC — Chronic Pain & Trauma Therapist
I started working with chronic pain and illness clients because I kept seeing the same thing: people who had been poked, prodded, and sent home with a pamphlet, still struggling, still in pain, still being told it was probably stress. I knew there was more to it than that.
I'm Elysia — a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master's in Counselling Psychology. I live with chronic illness myself, which means I'm not just clinically trained in this area — I actually get it. That combination of lived experience and professional training shapes everything about how I work.
My approach is nervous-system-informed, evidence-based, and genuinely collaborative. I'm not going to hand you a workbook and call it a day. We'll figure out together what your nervous system needs and build from there.
How I Work
Sessions are online, 50 minutes, and available across Canada. I offer clinical therapy for BC residents and non-clinical weekly support for anyone, anywhere.
I draw from Pain Reprocessing Therapy, the Safe and Sound Protocol, DBT, CBT, somatic approaches, and pacing — not because I use all of them at once, but because I pull from whatever actually fits you and where you're at.
If any of this resonates, the best next step is a free 20-minute call. No pressure, no commitment — just a conversation to see if we're a fit.
